Our curriculum is the School of Tomorrow PACES (A.C.E. workbooks). While these PACES are excellent, we do use ABEKA books to supplement Math and Reading. Although our class time is mostly lock-step, each student will read through a series of phonetic readers at their own pace, individually progressing to more complex books. Along with the core subjects, we have a separate class for music. Children must be five by September 1st to be enrolled in kindergarten.
We also have daily Bible Stories and Scripture memory with a weekly school-wide chapel where the Kindergarten class will often share songs and Scriptures.
Though we work hard as young students, we have so much fun with dress up days (Pajama, Western, etc.), color days (with parental involvement for a color snack), story-time and other learning and serving opportunities!
