Hill Country Christian School is a private Christian school located in San Marcos, Texas. We are a non-denominational, pre-k through 12th grade school dedicated to training students to excel in wisdom and stature with both God and man (Luke 2:52).
We provide instruction for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, so that each of our students is strong in their faith, grounded in truth, academically excellent, and pursuing physical health. We are dedicated to affordable education and smaller classes with an average student to teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
Who We Are
We value faith at the highest level because our achievement is equal to our belief in Jesus.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”Heb 11:6
We believe that having intelligence without a strong moral foundation will not be enough to make a difference.
“Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education.”Martin Luther King
We achieve our highest in academics by blending mastery level education with classical education.
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”Benjamin Franklin
We aspire to be healthy in body, soul, and mind. Each is a gift from God that needs care to remain strong.
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”I Cor 6:19-20
