ADMISSION PROCESS

Applications are accepted all year and are submitted online.    Enrollment is open for the start of the school  year and under strict circumstances, at the beginning of the second semester.       

You are welcome to begin with a tour of the school campus before applying.

Take a tour of our classrooms to discover our teaching methods and campus life.    We offer in person tours during the school week.  We encourage you to visit before deciding if HCCS is right for your family.

Your application must be submitted with 3 letters of recommendations and a school transcript, or equivalent, for each student.  Diagnostic testing will not be scheduled until your application is complete.

We encourage your letters to come from a current pastor or minister,  members of your attending church, prior school administration, teachers or coaches,  and/or friends and family.

Once your letters have been submitted, we require that each student schedule a day to test for an academic assessment.   Placement to a requested grade level must be diagnosed and approved by our Academic Advisor.

Now that you have submitted all the required paperwork we will begin processing your application.   We ask that you wait for a confirmation email to proceed to the next step.   At that time, you will receive a link to schedule a meeting with the principal.  

By this step, we will know what grade level your student will be entering and a final meeting with Principal Birkhimer is required.  This is an informal meeting between parents or guardians, the student(s), and the principal.

We utilize this information to confirm that our school is the right fit for your family.   Please take the opportunity to ask your questions or discuss anything that has not been covered.  This is as much as an interview for us, as it is for your family.

Congratulations!  You have been accepted to Hill Country Christian School.  An acceptance letter will be emailed after your meeting with the principal.  If for any reason the school feels like we are  not a good fit, a letter will be emailed in place of an acceptance letter.

An agreement with tuition information and payment details will be sent.   Other useful information including important upcoming dates will also be attached.   Thank you for choosing Hill Country Christian School.
